The purpose of Children’s Ministry is to introduce children to Jesus Christ and make disciples.
From preschool through 5th grade, our curriculum is geared to establish a foundation of truth and a firm knowledge of the Word of God. On Sunday morning, come to the Children’s Ministry Center, located in the church foyer, where we can connect you to the right place for your children. Children’s Ministry is also involved in reaching out with the Gospel through VBS and the children’s Christmas program.

At Faith Bible, Awana is a Wednesday evening program for children (4 years old through 6th grade) to deepen their understanding of God by studying His Word, the Bible, and discovering how to apply God’s teachings to their lives. Awana also gives children an excellent opportunity to invite friends who may not have a relationship with Jesus yet. Each evening has three parts – Handbook Time, Game Time, and a Teaching Time. Activities during these times include singing praise songs, hearing gospel-centered Bible lessons, participating in exciting game times, and committing God’s word to memory while learning about the Bible and gaining a lasting faith in Christ. Awana is held on Wednesdays, 6:45 – 8:15 PM, late August-April (first day of Awana is Wednesday, August 28). Registration for Awana 2024-25 will begin on August 1, 2024 and will be open throughout the Awana year.

Children in kindergarten through 5th grade begin their morning together by praising God in our elementary worship time in the gym. In their Sunday school classes, children discover who God is through His Word, the Bible. Ending with small group time, the children meet with leaders who guide students to understand the Biblical truths and how they apply to their lives.
Preschoolers (ages 2 – 5 years old) start the morning with a worship time in their classrooms. They praise God through singing, Bible verses, and prayer. The preschoolers’ lessons teach them to know the Bible and also to know the God who revealed Himself to us in its pages. They do all this under the loving care of teachers who are invested in building a Biblical foundation in our young ones.
God’s Word is made central in Children’s Church through the teaching and activities for the children. Infants through 2nd grade children attend age-appropriate classes, while 3rd through 5th graders worship in the sanctuary with their families.
Locations:
Infants – Nursery (near sanctuary)
Preschool through 2nd grade – Room 107
A nursery is available during both services for infants and toddlers (2 years and under). It is staffed by experienced people who provide loving care to your child. We also have a private room for nursing mothers located inside the nursery. Stop by the Children’s Ministry desk for directions to the nursery.
