So, what is the Gospel… to you? As the video states, it all centers around Jesus, God in the flesh who died on the cross and rose from the dead. In doing so, Jesus paid the debt that we all owe for our sin (sin is anything we do, say, or think that is contrary to God’s perfect standard). Through Him and Him alone we are able to be right with God. How do you receive this new and eternal life that Jesus offers, applying the good news of the Gospel to your life? Simply place your trust in Him alone for salvation. You can tell God directly (prayer) that you know you have sinned against Him and that you believe Jesus is God who took the punishment for your sin and rose from the dead. Anyone who does this is not only assured of eternity in heaven, but begins an exciting new journey of life lived for Christ!
