Please prayerfully consider how you can best serve children through this important outreach ministry of our church. VBS runs June 15-19, 9 AM to 12 PM daily. Student Volunteer OptionsThis section is only for our students who are helping with VBS! 7th-12th grade volunteers - Grade in 2026-27: All student volunteers need to attend FBC or be part of FBC's student ministry for 6 months. If you are a 25/26 high school graduate, enter "graduate" in the above field.An Important Change - Please read. In previous years, game and craft positions have been filled on a first come basis. We are changing our sign-up procedure this year. VBS leaders feel it is important to place student volunteers where the need is greatest. We will do our best to place you where you request, but you may be asked to serve in a way that is not your first choice. Please select two or more areas that you would be willing to serve in.* I have read the changes listed above. Volunteer areas student is interested in Nametag & Bag Assembly - Friday, June 12, 9:30am-12:30pm. Assist with name tags, guide bags, etc. (lunch provided). VBS Set-up - Help decorate and set-up on Sunday, June 14, at 12pm for VBS (lunch provided). Snack Room Helper - Help in the snack room with passing out snack and interacting with kids as they eat. Guide - Leading a group of children through the morning - interacting with them, sharing the Gospel, and answering any questions they may have. Please attend the VBS Training meeting on Thursday, June 11, at 7pm. Craft Helper - Help in the craft room. Please attend the VBS Training Meeting on Thursday, June 11, at 7pm. Preschool Worker - Help care for children (ages 2 - pre-K) of VBS volunteers in their own mini-VBS. Nursery Worker - Help care for nursery-age children of VBS volunteers. Student Games Helper - Assist Games Leader in directing games and activities. Special Needs Buddy - Help with a special needs participant alongside another adult (only students who check this box will be considered for serving in this area). Thursday Noon Gym Set-up - Set-up tables and chairs in the gym for the Thursday, 6/18 evening meal. Thursday Night Meal - Prep and serve the Thursday evening (6/18 @ 5:30pm) family meal. Thursday Night Clean-up Crew - Clean up the kitchen and gym after the evening meal (6/18). VBS Take Down - Help take down VBS decorations and return the church to normal appearance on Friday, June 19, 12pm (lunch provided).
