I. Elders must be able to silence false teachers who hurt families within the local church (Titus 1:10-11).
II. Strongly rebuke those in the church family who follow false teaching so they can be strong in the faith (Titus 1:12-14).
III. Those who are not believing in Jesus can do no good-thing that is acceptable to God (Titus 1:15-16).
Main Idea: Elders are to be the keepers of sound doctrine in the local church.
