I. Jesus shows authority over worship (Luke 19:45 – 20:8).
II. To honor Jesus’ authority, our worship should be . . .
A. from the heart through a relationship with Jesus (John 4:20-26).
B. centered on Jesus as the basis for our relationship with God (John 1:29-34).
C. according to the pattern of the early church (Acts 2:36-47).
D. an offering of praise (Hebrews 13:15-16).
E. a heart response to seeing God (Revelation 4:1-11).
Main Idea: Jesus is the authority over and focus of our worship.
