Online Giving FAQs:
Q: For online giving, what should I expect?
A: You will be taken to a secure web page (such as, https://faithbible.breezechms.com/give/online or for individuals with a Breeze account https://faithbible.breezechms.com/give/internal ). Enter the dollar amount you would like to give. Select to give from either your bank account (preferred) or a credit / debit card. Select the fund (if you want to give to something other than FBC’s ‘General Fund’). Just below the fund selection, you may also add other funds by clicking on the ‘add gift to another fund’. Enter the bank or credit / debit card details. Enter your email address. If you would like this to be a recurring donation, click on the ‘one time gift’ text and pick the rate of recurrence. You may optionally enter a note about the donation in the ‘comments’ field. When you have entered all required information, click on the “Donate Now’ button. You will be taken to a confirmation page.
Q: Will I receive a notification for online donations?
A: You will receive an email each time you donate online or by text. If you set up a recurring gift, then each time a donation occurs, you will also receive a confirmation email. Early in the calendar year (following the donation), you will receive a statement from FBC that includes online and text donations along with any other tax-deductible donations from the previous year.
Q: What payment methods are available for online or text giving?
A: Online and text giving accept bank accounts (ACH is the lowest cost to FBC) or credit / debit cards.
Q: For online or text gifts, what are the frequency options?
A: See the following table:
Giving Option | Description | Number of Yearly Donations |
One time | One gift and then stops | (once; does not repeat) |
Every week | Every week on the same day of the week | 52 |
Every two weeks | Every other week on the same day of the week | 26 |
Once a month | Every month on the same day of the month | 12 |
Once a year | Once a year on the same date of the year | 1 |
Q: Will it cost me anything to use online or text giving?
A: No, Faith Bible Church provides this as a service at no charge to you. FBC is charged a small amount each time a transfer is completed. Using a Bank Routing / Account number is less costly to the church (about 1/3 the cost of using a credit / debit card).
Q: Is this secure?
A: Yes, a reputable third-party firm provides the web page and security for online giving. Faith Bible Church does not retain any bank account numbers or credit / debit card numbers.
Q: Can I see my giving history?
A: Yes, if you have a Breeze account. To see your giving history:
-
- Log into Breeze and click on “My Profile”
- Click on “Giving” (in list on left of screen)
Q: May I change (or stop) a recurring gift amount, funds, bank account (or credit / debit card)?
A: To modify (or stop) a recurring online donation:

- Click “change” next to the recurring gift you wish to update

Q: I made a mistake and need to get back an amount (partial or full) already taken from my account. How do I accomplish this?
A: For online giving, contact the FBC office (but give no account / credit card / debit card numbers). They will tell you the name of the person who will be contacting you. You will be contacted by the person designated to help online donors. For text giving, click this link (if problems, contact the church office).
Q: Have a question not listed above?
A: Contact the FBC office with the type of question (but give no account / credit card / debit card numbers). They will tell you the name of the person who will be contacting you. You will be contacted about your question by the person designated to help online donors.
If you have no preference, the most cost-efficient method would be for you to use the bank routing & account number (ACH) method.
