“The Abomination of Desolation”
Matthew 24:15-28
I. Jesus points to the appearance of the “abomination of desolation” as a sign of great tribulation (Matthew 24:15-21).
II. Persecution can cause people to seek after false prophets/messiahs for help, but there will be no mistaking when Jesus Christ actually come back to earth (Matthew 24:22-28).
Main Idea: Sever persecution will tempt people to go after deceivers, but there will be no mistaking the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
