“Jesus’ Temptation”
I. The Holy Spirit led Jesus into testing by Satan to show His obedience and holiness in preparation for His work on earth (Matthew 4:1-2).
II. Satan uses a tactic of tempting people to try to find fulfillment apart from God (Matthew 4:3-11).
Main Idea: Jesus’ temptation showed that He is holy and able to identify with our struggle with temptation.
