Welcome

What will I find at Faith? Whether you enter our building from the larger lot to the south or the newer entrance to the west, you will immediately see our Welcome Center. Please stop by this desk to meet our host or hostess and receive a small welcome gift, as well as literature to acquaint you with our church. How should I dress? At Faith you’ll notice people wearing everything from coats and ties to jeans and casual clothing. Whatever your preference, we’d like you to dress in the way that would best help you worship. What sort of service will I find? Our worship at Faith tends toward the informal. A blended style of music creates a familiar atmosphere for all generations. During our open-microphone prayer time, those who wish will have opportunity to share things for which they’re thankful, or items for which they’re trusting God. Naturally, you won’t be singled out or put "on the spot" in any way. The teaching of God’s Word makes for the high point of our services. Where do my children go? Children are important to us at Faith. At the Welcome Center you’ll be given a map directing you to the right classroom for your children—whether that be the nursery or our high school ministry. You can also expect our host or hostess to walk you to the place you’d like to go. Families with infants will find others with very small children in our glassed-in "cry room."
What else is available for adults? In addition to our three worship services (7:45, 9:00 & 10:45), we have classes for adults that meet at 9:00 and 10:45. Talk with the host or hostess at the Welcome Center for information on classes currently being offered. Where do I go when I have questions? (Name badges & Welcome Center) Our pastors, together with some other leaders, wear name badges. Should you have a question, feel free to stop anyone you see wearing one of these badges. Also, don’t forget about the Welcome Center. You might think of this desk as your "home base" during your first visit to Faith. We look forward to meeting you at Faith Bible Church! |
