I. God is in complete control over His plan to save His people from their sins (Matthew 2:13, 19, 22; also see 1:21).
II. Jesus’ escape to Egypt shows the unity of the Bible and God’s overall plan of salvation (Matthew 2:14-18).
Main Idea: Jesus’ escape to Egypt fulfills Old Testament Scripture!
