Counseling Services
Counseling services are provided through Ron Telecky. Ron has four grown children, and resides with his wife Gloria in Mt. Vernon. They attend Maranatha Bible Church in Cedar Rapids.
Ron has two master's degrees in counseling. The first is from the University of Iowa in Rehabilitation Counseling, the second is from Calvary Theological Seminary, in Biblical Counseling. Ron has worked for the past six and a half years on a parttime basis as a marriage and family therapist at Keys To Living Counseling Center in Cedar Rapids.
Ron's philosophical approach to counseling is to seek scriptural principles to address the issues that confront people and help them apply those relevant principles to their situation. Ron believes that Scripture has something to say to us about the problems we encounter, even those that also have a physiological component.
Ron is normally available Monday through Thursday, and can make other arrangements as necessary. Appointments can be made by calling the church office, or calling Ron directly at (319) 350-3537.
