While also serving as the main place to connect with other believers, Sunday morning worship provides the primary opportunity to learn God’s Word at Faith. In leading these services at 9:00 and 10:45, Steve Benton provides a steady diet of teaching from both the Old and New Testaments so that growing followers of Jesus learn to trust God. In his messages Steve takes a special interest in teaching growing followers of Jesus how to read the Bible for themselves—making observations in the text of Scripture, asking and answering the right questions, and applying the teaching of God’s Word to their lives throughout the week.
All this learning explains why you’ll see people following along carefully in their Bibles. You’ll want to bring yours as well. Or, if you don’t have one, just ask for a Bible at the Welcome Center.
